The artists understand their work, which are created especially for this exhibition, as a concentrated structure building up the body of the exhibition, in which the four different positions constantly increase and condense each other. Without losing the formation of the whole, the individual may sometimes act massively or even growing. “Mass” should not be understood as an unmanageable accumulation of unstructured material, but as clearly defined volumes and surfaces that build up with space and in time. Köver, Krabbe, Rempel and Sasse know each other from studying at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, and have already exhibited in changing formations over the past three years. They exhibited in Düsseldorf, Wuppertal, San Francisco and Palermo, but never in this constellation.
